Hello, friends,
I was supposed to publish a new entry yesterday, and that never happened. I planned to get it done, and I just never did. I wanted to honor a friend who recently left this life and address the topic suggestion he gave me, but I really don’t know enough about it - and every time I look around, there’s some other obligation holding me up.
Doctors appointments and dentist exams can be exhausting (especially when you find out you’ve got two new cavities). Things like that are exceptionally draining. Then there’s bad pain days, which make it impossible to really get any work done.
Here’s where the House Of Representatives comes in, briefly:
The house is like me, with several herniated disks in it’s neck. It can get the job done, but it takes about fifteen tries. They elected McCarthy speaker, but only after he made severe concessions to the craziest people in his party.
Yeah this was all kind of a set-up to a self-deprecating joke.
But seriously,
I’ll try to get the research I need done and get an article up ASAP, and also try to get one out next Friday, even if it’s just a brief one. Or, maybe I’ll mix up the order. I don’t know, yet.
Let me know how you feel about these little jaunts through my head.
