Hi there! As you can tell, my name is Jesse Pohlman, and I’m an author from Long Island, New York that is interested in Progressive politics at a time when, well, pretty much my entire neighborhood just elected Republicans. Neat, huh? I don’t think so, but let’s move on!

The goal of this publication is to discuss Progressive ideas, policies, and implementations, with a bit of an optimistically-futurist, and adamantly anti-Fascist bend. I like to do medium-to-deep dives, like my debut article on Gerrymandering In The 2022 Midterms, I prefer being able to cite sources and statistics, and to bring evidence into arguments. That takes significant time, and this is still a brand-new venture for me. I’m not inexperienced in the journalism work-space; I ran The Weekly Freeporter for five years with, yes, better-than-weekly consistency.I don’t have a particular schedule planned at this time. I’m hoping for approximately one post per week, but that depends on what there is to cover in terms of current events. Some weeks there might be two or three things to talk about, while other weeks I might just be researching, or working on my (many) other projects.

I am always welcoming of constructive, positive feedback. Negativity will be met with mockery and blockery, sure; but if you come with kindness, you will be met with the same.
